Owned a VT 250 F 1983. Rode a Spada for 2 years. Rode a VTR for 2 weeks. In my dipcrap's opinion this is one of Honda's best bikes. Balance, braking, cornering, torque - all of Honda's Gestalt is here. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It worked then and still holds grit.

Unfortunately I don’t know anyone who currently rides a VTR as I write this review in 2009 (updated 2012) so I can’t comment on the riding aspect. Everyone I know has chosen the more common Ninja 250 or other 250cc or 125cc Hondas or Suzuki. As a result I can only comment on the specifications and showroom impressions.
